Faith Home is a non-profit Christian rehabilitation center that provides a free, eight-week residential program based on the Twelve Steps.
Even though they employ both men and women, the facilities are separated based on gender. Counseling in various forms, spiritual direction through Chaplain services, healthy lifestyle skills, nutritional advice, daily recovery meetings, work therapy, worship services, family events, therapeutic fitness, volunteer opportunities, and choral outreach programs are all part of the menu of services provided.
If a client is willing to commit to the 8-week prprogramthey will be able to receive the necessary services at no cost to them because the organization is not-for-profit. There are 135 beds available for men and women over the age of 18 who need assistance.
The Owls Nest Recovery Center
Addicts who come to The Owls Nest Recovery Center work closely with their treatment team to create an individualized plan that incorporates both 12-step and evidence-based therapies to combat their substance abuse.
Clients are given the option of living in a sober house during their time in the outpatient program, which can provide a more regimented schedule and a more conducive setting for recovery.
The Owls Nest offers a wide variety of therapeutic services, such as one-on-one sessions, groups, process groups, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family therapy, creative writing, and interactive workshops for those struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
Southwest Carolina Treatment Center – Anderson
The Anderson-based Southwest Carolina Treatment Center provides outpatient pharmacotherapy treatment. Methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone are some of the medications prescribed to men and women over the age of 18 who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms due to opioid abuse.
Despite their desire to stop using drugs, many people who abuse opioids like Oxycodone, Percocet, Norco, Vicodin, heroin, OxyContin, Hydrocodone, fentanyl, and other opioids relapse because of withdrawal symptoms.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs provide clients with medications that alleviate withdrawal symptoms, allowing them to put their full attention and energy into the recovery process and bolstering their motivation to stay sober and engage in treatment.
Patients can also take advantage of both individual and group counseling sessions in addition to the prescribed medications. Clients take part in a variety of relapse prevention and behavior modification therapies and learn useful life skills during these sessions.
Miracle Hill Overcomers Center
As a charitable organization, Miracle Hill Ministries helps men and women who are homeless and suffering from substance abuse or mental health issues. Although the organization as a whole operates out of several locations in South Carolina, this particular location is an inpatient treatment provider that focuses exclusively on serving male patients who are struggling with addiction.
Services like 12-step facilitation, addiction education, life skills training, various types of counseling, and devotional services are used throughout the 27-week residential treatment program. Residents of this addiction treatment facility have access to medical care, counseling, case management, spiritual support, a mentoring program, and temporary housing while they are undergoing treatment.
Ace Recovery for Men
This drug and alcohol rehab is run by volunteers and provides free services to men who are struggling with addiction. Ace Recovery is an inpatient drug rehab program with clinicians and addiction specialists on staff around the clock to monitor patients, particularly those going through detox or withdrawal.
Care plans can be selected with durations of 30, 60, or 90 days. Individual therapy, CBT-R groups, facilitated 12-step meetings, social detox, educational groups, DUI programs, therapeutic exercise, and post-discharge support are all viable options. This rehab can help with any kind of substance abuse problem, but they specialize in helping men who have problems with drugs like cocaine, meth, opiates, alcohol, and cannabis.
Waypoint Recovery Center – Cameron
Waypoint Recovery Center provides comprehensive addiction treatment to residents of South Carolina under the supervision of highly trained clinicians with advanced degrees. Assessments, a variety of therapies, a strategy for continuing care, and other holistic approaches all come together in the treatment plan.
By combining them, drug abuse services can better meet the needs of the whole person. Clinicians at Waypoint Recovery are dedicated to helping their patients achieve long-term sobriety by crafting individualized plans that include comprehensive services that address not only the physical and psychological effects of addiction, but also the psychological, spiritual, and social factors that contribute to the disease.
Some health insurance is accepted at Waypoint Recovery Center. Depending on the client’s financial situation, other payment options of financial assistance plans may be made available.
Brite Life Recovery
The BriteLife facility in South Carolina is evidence-based, meaning it emphasizes the results and the science behind alcohol and drug treatment methods that are effective.
Every patient can choose from a wide range of services, such as activity therapies and numerous group therapy options. These services give people the chance to learn from and hold each other accountable while also receiving social support from their peers.
There are a variety of adventure therapy options, some of which include canoeing, hiking, swimming, and equine-assisted therapies. BriteLife works with a wide variety of health plans, though they don’t accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Solutions Recovery Center
The Solutions Recovery Center is a private rehab that provides men in recovery from addiction with a safe and supportive place to live. Clients have the freedom to maintain outside responsibilities while residing in a semi-private room and receiving outpatient treatment in a supportive community setting.
