Tri-State Veterinary Clinic

Tri-State Veterinary Clinic in Cheyenne, WY was started by Dr. Gurney more than 60 years ago, and ever since then, we have treated all of our patients’ dogs and cats as if they were members of our own family, providing them with the best medical care possible. After 35 years of operation by Dr. Charlie Sink, Dr. Troy Thompson purchased the clinic in 1999.

Then, in August of 2013, we relocated to our current building on 19th Street, where we have been ever since. Dr. Thompson is a qualified veterinarian in Wyoming who has written and spoken extensively on the topic of hunting dog arthritis for Pheasants Forever magazine.

Tri-State, a veterinary facility he directed, was chosen by Cheyenne residents as one of the top three in the city by the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. Chayla Stewart, Sara Kessler, and Nekiah Blakesley have all just joined the team, and Emily Whetstone came aboard in 2016. These four ladies bring warmth, compassion, and a wealth of medical knowledge to their work with our patients.
