The Journey to Hope, Health & Healing

BHG Providence, also known as The Journey to Hope, Health & Healing, offers both psychotherapy and medication management. Methadone, Suboxone, or Vivitrol are some of the FDA-approved medications that can be given to clients experiencing opioid withdrawal.

Individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy are all examples of the types of counseling available.

As BHG does not offer in-patient MAT, the primary objective is to maintain the client’s safety during detox while simultaneously bolstering the person’s desire to make positive life changes. Some health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted by BHG. Patients can walk in or make an appointment now, so don’t hesitate to stop by.

Butler Hospital

Treatment for substance abuse is available at the Butler Hospital location in Providence, Rhode Island through several different rehabilitation programs.

The ultimate goal of any of the many available treatment options is to equip each patient with the set of tools and support network necessary to remain sober once they leave the confines of the facility. Most of the outpatient services provided here involve some form of group therapy for their clients.

Individual therapy, family therapy, education, and medication management are also available to clients.

Providence Comprehensive Treatment Center

Those over the age of 18 who are struggling with opioid addiction can get help at Providence Comprehensive Treatment Center, which offers medication-assisted therapy. Psychiatric drugs and MAT drugs like methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and Vivitrol are prescribed to clients to alleviate withdrawal symptoms.

Counseling in the form of both individual sessions and small groups is also offered as an adjunct to these other services for those who prefer to receive care outside of a hospital setting. It is essential to address physical discomfort, cravings, and withdrawal symptoms first.

Opiate withdrawal is a common side effect of the detox process, and it can be painful enough to prompt relapse or even a fatal overdose. By alleviating these signs and symptoms, MAT reduces the risk of fatal relapses and increases clients’ motivation for long-term recovery.

Woonsocket Comprehensive Treatment Center

If you or someone you care about is experiencing withdrawal symptoms from opioid abuse, Woonsocket Comprehensive is another option for outpatient treatment. As a methadone-only clinic, this MAT facility cannot accommodate clients’ needs for alternative medications and must instead refer them to other facilities.

Individual and group therapy sessions will be made available to clients as a means of helping them adjust to treatment, heal, and work up the motivation to commit to longer-term programs. To ensure that the correct medications are being used and that the entire addiction recovery process is safe and effective, clients work closely with addiction specialists and medical doctors.

Robert J Wilson House

The Robert J. Wilson House is a men-only inpatient facility that provides treatment for substance abuse in an atmosphere conducive to recovery. Although the primary focus is on relapse prevention, many services are available to clients.

These include tox screenings, 24-hour supervision, individual therapy, support groups, family therapy, primary care coordination, medication management, self-help education, and aftercare planning.

With the help of their treatment team, clients actively participate in the planning of these programs and the establishment of an appropriate length of stay. Additionally, Robert J. Wilson House provides outpatient programs, community referrals, and community support services to its clients.

The Providence Center

The Providence Center is an all-inclusive drug and alcohol rehabilitation center with a range of treatment options and support structures to meet each individual’s unique requirements.

Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication management, relapse prevention training, skill-building classes, community support, gender-specific services, case management, 12-step participation, vocational training, aftercare planning, education, trauma and domestic violence therapies, wellness activities, and various prevention and risk reduction strategies are all available through this behavioral healthcare facility.

Additionally, those who seek help at The Providence Center can take advantage of general medical care, addiction recovery coaching, legal aid advocacy, and other specialized programs created to aid those who are homeless and struggling with both substance abuse and housing insecurity.

Roger Williams Medical Center

Patients in Rhode Island can receive both primary care and substance abuse treatment at Roger Williams Medical Center. Patients have access to all primary healthcare programs because they are all provided within the same healthcare facility.

There are 12 residential beds for those over the age of 65, 12 beds for general substance abuse clients, and 15 beds for detox patients. This center offers a wide range of services, including case management, therapy, early recovery groups, medication support, and referrals to other facilities if a client requires additional care not provided onsite.
