Tully Hill Treatment and Recovery

At Tully Hill, men and women in need of substance abuse treatment will work with a professional staff on 33 acres of land that promotes natural healing and overall wellness, far from the noise and distractions of New York City.

Patients in their residential programs have access to round-the-clock medical care, medication, addiction education, family therapy, mindfulness practices like meditation and guided imagery, and a wide range of other holistic healing modalities.

Clients will be able to connect with their peers and build trust in these support groups thanks to the availability of medication assistance and 12-step meetings in the local area.

The overarching objective of these programs is to teach participants about addiction as a disease and to assist them in developing the tools and routines necessary to lead fulfilling lives without drugs or alcohol.

St. Christophers Inn

Saint Christopher’s Inn is a shelter and rehab center for formerly homeless men who are also battling substance abuse issues. Clients will have access to medical care, 12-step meetings, individual therapy, community service, group therapy, meditation, daily community meetings, pastoral counseling, family therapy, yoga, vocational guidance, education, and cognitive behavioral therapy lectures, in addition to supportive housing options.

The average time spent in this program is between 75 and 90 days, but that can vary greatly depending on the individual.

Additionally, each client collaborates with their treatment team to develop a personalized aftercare plan that will provide continued care and support well into the future. Saint Christophers’ also provides medication-assisted treatments like Suboxone and Vivitrol to clients experiencing withdrawal from opioids or alcohol. Patients of any financial standing are accepted at this center.

Elev8 Center New York

Elev8 is a comprehensive recovery center that offers both inpatient and outpatient services so that each client can select the type of treatment that is most effective for them. Clients will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of medical professionals, dietitians, addiction specialists, and mental health counselors to develop a personalized treatment plan for chemical dependency.

Medical monitoring, medication management, individual therapy, group therapy, and various holistic therapies are all potential components of substance abuse services within these treatment plans.

Villa Veritas Foundation

The programs at Villa Veritas are based on the 12 Steps, which are the cornerstone of the facility’s name. These programs treat the whole person, including mind, body, and spirit, using therapies tailored to each gender’s unique needs in the field of behavioral health.

The services provided to women range from those aimed at healing the effects of trauma caused by domestic violence to those focused on improving their health through nutrition and the arts.

UHS Addiction Medicine

Group therapy, anger management, skill development, medication management, individual psychotherapy, and crisis interventions are all available through the UHS Addiction Medicine program. Lexington Center for Recovery

If the needs of a client cannot be met by outpatient services alone, they may be referred to a facility that can provide the necessary level of care.

Clinicians at Beacon Center will work with each client to create an individualized treatment plan that may incorporate trauma-informed care, medication management, medication assistance, gender-specific services, age-specific groups, medication, and early recovery skill development. Each person’s plan, including hours, worked per week and schedule, will be unique.

Credo Community Center – Watertown

The services provided by Credo Community Center include one-on-one counseling, group counseling, peer advocacy, methadone and buprenorphine maintenance, case management, overdose prevention education, and vocational training. Given that this is an outpatient facility, the bulk of the treatment consists of group sessions.

Relapse-prevention groups, cognitive restructuring, art therapy, coping skill development, anger management, and many more will all be available to clients. Patients who require more intensive care, such as residential drug and alcohol treatment, will be referred to an appropriate facility. Credo Community Center offers both Medicaid and private health insurance as payment options in addition to a sliding scale fee structure.

Long Island Center for Recovery
