Center for Behavioral Health – Iowa

The Center for Behavioral Health Iowa provides patients with medication-assisted treatment, including drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the management of opioid withdrawal symptoms. Methadone, Vivitrol, and Suboxone are the only drugs they prescribe to people over the age of 18.

As a priority, this program seeks to alleviate any distressing or painful withdrawal symptoms that may prompt relapse. After the patient’s symptoms have been alleviated, he or she can either continue receiving individualized education through the Center for Behavioral Health or be referred to another rehabilitation center that offers more robust, recovery-focused services. Customers can also get DUI evaluations here. Medicaid, Medicare, and military insurance are all accepted at the Center for Behavioral Health Iowa.

St Gregory Recovery Center

St. George Recovery Center provides faith-based addiction treatment that takes into account the whole person. Each session of their substance abuse treatment program, called Virtuous Life, emphasizes the virtues of faith, hope, love, discretion, fairness, courage, and moderation.

UCS Healthcare is committed to being welcoming to all people, so they provide bilingual treatment services and programs for the LGBTQ+ community. Services are priced on a sliding scale and can be paid for by insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or out-of-pocket.

Cedar Rapids Treatment Center

When looking for outpatient MAT in Cedar Rapids, consider Cedar Rapids Comprehensive Treatment Center. They treat both males and females who are struggling with opioid addiction. Methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and buprenorphine, all of which are used to treat withdrawal symptoms and help increase a client’s motivation to change, are available through this outpatient program.

In addition to taking prescribed medications, clients will engage in talk therapy, both individually and in groups, to address a wide range of concerns. Each patient will first undergo an assessment to establish a baseline from which future progress can be measured.
