When BAC Transportation first opened its doors in 2000, the fleet consisted of just two limousines and one bus. BAC introduced the state of Alaska to the first limos with four-wheel drive that year. When BAC first introduced its Executive Sedan Services in 2008, it did so with Lincoln Town Cars. BAC’s airline support services first took flight in 2009.
In 2010, they branched out to offer Coach Bus Services; in 2012, they added the brand-new Chrysler 300M series sedan to their fleet; and in 2013, they were named one of the country’s top 100 largest fleets by Limousine Charter and Tours Magazine. As a consequence of our commitment to excellence in customer service, we have grown to become Alaska’s go-to provider of limousine, van, and sedan service.
Charlie is the epitome of the entrepreneur role, serving as CEO/Founder of BAC Transportation LLC since 2000.
He is an active member of the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, the National Limousine Association, the Alaska Petroleum Club, the Alaska Travel Industry Association, the Alaska Film Group, and the National Limousine Association.

The proprietor has been in the transportation business for almost 30 years. All drivers have at least 15 years of experience on the road, are fully licensed, and have lived in Alaska.
Jean has been a dispatcher for a transportation firm in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, every winter for the past 30 years. Together, they’ve spent nearly twenty years in Whittier; she’s been there for 15 years, and Dan is her long-term partner. A Mercedes SUV and a Sprinter van are at our disposal. We pride ourselves on providing more personable service and have a deep love for both our company and the state of Alaska.
Anchorage Tours & Transfers
Our bus rides from Anchorage to Whittier are just as comfortable as the ones provided by the cruise lines, but they won’t break the bank. We provide shuttle service to and from the cruise terminal in Whittier, Alaska, and can pick you up at your hotel or the airport.
To maintain the high standard of service that we’ve built our business on, we limit the capacity of our minibusses for transfers to 24 passengers at a time.
Our company also operates as a transfer and tour service between Seward and the port of arrival for cruise ships. In addition to our public excursions, we also offer private tours in the comfort of a van or mini-coach.

ALASKA TOUR COMPANY
A picturesque flight will take you to Fort Yukon, an Athabascan settlement located eight miles above the Arctic Circle at the junction of the Yukon and Porcupine rivers. You’ll spend a total of two hours in the air, one hour on the ground, and fifteen minutes changing planes.
You will visit the tomb of the Reverend Hudson Stuck, who in 1905 became the archdeacon of the Yukon and led the first successful expedition to the summit of Mt. McKinley, touch the Yukon River, and hear stories about the winter when temperatures dropped to 85 degrees below zero. The trip begins at 7 p.m. in Fairbanks and ends at 11 p.m., so the midnight sun will be shining brightly on your return.
