Broadview Animal Hospital of Dover
We are grateful for the chance to work with the people of Dover and the surrounding area to offer “Peace of Mind” quality veterinary services at our newest clinic. Complete veterinarian care is available seven days a week at this 8,000-square-foot facility. We treat dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotic creatures, both routinely and in cases of emergency.
We ask that you please call ahead to schedule an appointment so that we may better accommodate you. The health of your pet is our top priority, which is why we’ve created a stress-free atmosphere here at our hospital. To better serve our feline patients, we have designed a separate lobby, waiting area, and examination rooms, and treatment are only for them.
Locations for exotic and pocket pets will be set aside. We’ve made sure our hospitalized dogs don’t have to go through any unnecessary trauma by dedicating special therapy, surgery/intensive care, and kennel areas just for them. Everything from the hues and patterns to the aromas and built-in safeguards is designed to make your experience as relaxing as possible.
We have three operating rooms and 10 exam rooms in our facility. Knee and hip replacements, as well as soft-tissue surgery for diseases of the eye, ear, mouth, skin, neck, and abdomen, are all part of our service offerings.
To maintain a clean and healthy mouth for your pet, we have a dentistry and oral surgery suite that is designed with your pet’s protection in mind. Laboratory, imaging, ultrasound, laser therapy, arthroscopy, and endoscopic services are all available here on-site.

The Broadview Animal Hospital was founded by veterinarian Dr. William Lowe on November 20, 1984. The first building on the Broadview Farm was a refurbished dairy barn about 1,600 square feet. In 1987, Dr. Norris began working for the practice, and by 1988, he had become a partner. Following two years of planning, construction began in 2003 on a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility for Broadview Animal Hospital, which included a 6,500-square-foot addition.
In 2008, Drs. Christine Davis and J. Wesley Chapin were brought on as new members of the board of directors. After thirty years of service, Dr. William Lowe retired in 2014. If you’re already one of our customers, we appreciate your faith in us to take good care of your loved ones. We want you, our new client, to know that our veterinarians and veterinary health care team recognize the special place your pet holds in your family. Our family is happy to have you and your dogs join us.
Full-Service Animal Hospital
Maintaining your pet’s health is one of our top priorities, and our wellness checks are a crucial component of this preventative care. We advise annual checkups at the very least, with more frequent visits for the elderly and those with chronic conditions. As a result of our thorough examinations, we can provide you with a comprehensive picture of your pet’s health and identify any developing issues at an early stage, when they are more manageable and less costly to cure.
The use of vaccines to protect your pet from illness is another important preventative strategy. We’ll modify our immunization schedule based on your pet’s specific requirements.
Your pet’s health depends on proper nutrition. Your pet’s unique needs, including size, age, and health concerns, will be taken into account when we formulate a personalized nutrition plan.
The surgical care your pet receives from our veterinarians and staff is of the highest quality and is performed in state-of-the-art facilities. Your pet will be in good hands during surgery thanks to our cutting-edge anesthetic and monitoring systems.
Due to the wide range of surgical approaches we employ, we are the go-to clinic for both planned and unexpected treatments. Whenever possible, we team up with highly regarded, highly qualified specialist surgeons with whom we have established good working relationships to send patients in need of more complex surgical operations.
It is essential to have a plan in place for postoperative care and pain management, as these factors are just as important as the surgical process itself. We take great effort in making sure both in-home and in-hospital procedures are covered in our comprehensive care plans.
