As a director and actor with a background in the classics, I hope to impart some of my expertise. I’ll make individualized lesson plans that do justice to the rich and varied field of stage and screen performance. In this course, students will learn about the techniques developed by such renowned actors as Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky, Michael Chekhov, and others. The various performances and physical activities that the students will take part in will help them develop physically, vocally, intellectually, and emotionally.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgetown in 2008 and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from USC in 2012. When I was a graduate student at the USC School of Dramatic Arts, I was a part of the three-year repertory acting program. I worked at Frigate Bay Filmworks as a producer’s assistant during and after my time in graduate school.

I collaborated on the creation of film properties based on original works of literature and biographical materials with producers, screenwriters, casting directors, directors, and special effects teams at that studio. I uprooted from the LA area to the Atlanta area at the year’s end of 2016. In 2017, I graduated from Clayton State University’s Continuing Education Film and Digital Media Certificate Program with a concentration in Screenwriting.

I am the creator, writer, and director of the web series SCALES, as well as its primary director and story editor. I have worked as an actor in Hollywood, Berkeley, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, performing in both period pieces and modern plays.
